Ever given this some thought?

This was a pretty fun little thought exercise to do. I'd never really paid attention to items under $20 that I love until now and listing them made me realise how much joy simple things can bring!
1. Journal
I'm not sure how ethical the journals from K-mart are but I always get mine from there. They're usually five bucks and come in super cute designs.
2. Cute pen for said journal
A good/cute/smooth pen makes the action of writing in a journal that much more enjoyable. I love cute pens that are bedazzled or fuzzy and could totally belong to Cher from Clueless. The more extra, the better.
3. Library card
Does this even count considering it's free? Yes. Yes it does. In almost every city I've ever lived in, one of the first things I've done is get a library card and boy does it deliver! The idea of being able to read books for free has always blown my mind. Like how much better does life get than access to a plethora of free books? Never not a win.
4. Floss
Legit, I cannot live without floss. I have loads of it at home and I carry it with me everywhere I go. How UNPLEASANT is it to have food stuck in your teeth and not be able to get it out properly!!!?? The worst. Floss is essential to my sanity.
5. Kodacolor 35mm film
This is usually no more than $7 from Hillvale in Brunswick and I always stock up. I shoot a lot on film so it's important for me to always have film around. Sometimes I splurge and get Kodak Portra or Fuji which you can still get for under $20, but I can get more bang for my buck with Kodacolor and I like how the photos turn out.
