How much do you charge?
I offer a wide range of services which is why I don't have a pricing list on my website. Each client is different with varied requirements for their project and I try my best to cater to each client's specific needs. However, there are a few services I have set prices for:
Event Photography - $250/ph
Event Videography - $350/ph
Headshot Sessions - Begin at $350
Modeling Folio Sessions - Begin at $550
Where are you based and do you have a studio?
I am based in Melbourne (north side) and available for work across Australia and internationally. I have my own small studio however I typically work in different studios around Fitzroy/Collingwood and studios that clients hire for their shoots.
What should I wear for my headshot/folio session?
Depending on the length of our session, I suggest bringing a minimum of three outfits. I always recommend steering away from black or white tops, logos and big, bold patterns that can be distracting. Headshots and folio sessions are about you. Wear outfits that you feel confident in! If your session doesn't include a hair and makeup artist, bring your own makeup for touch ups, hair products and a hairbrush.
Why do I have to pay a deposit?
When you pay a deposit, it means I'm clearing my schedule for you and won't book anyone else at that time and date. If you change or cancel your booking, it negatively impacts my calendar, opportunities for different jobs and my income. Booking a time for you means I can't book it for someone else, which is why deposits are non-refundable.
How long have you been a photographer?
I have been taking photos professionally for over 15 years, but if you count taking photos as a hobby since I was five, then basically my entire life! I have been shooting video for over 10 years-- my background for video is actually in filmmaking.
Why is photography expensive?
There's a lot of work and costs that aren't seen by clients: pre-production planning, post-production editing, website hosting, editing software, maintenance of gear, hard drives, email admin, etc etc etc!! You are also paying for a level of professionalism and expertise that has come with many, many years of experience.
How can I get in touch with you?
You can get in touch with me through the Contact page on my website or directly at drechezphotography@gmail.com and I will typically respond within 48hrs of receiving your email. I respond to correspondence during the week, Monday - Friday during regular working hours. When I'm shooting and on set, I'm usually away from my phone and don't answer emails. If I take longer than 48hrs to respond it is because I may be shooting many days in a row. I will respond to you as soon as possible.
How long until I receive my final images?
This can depend on the client's needs or the job itself, but typically you will receive your final images within 2-3 weeks of the shoot/after the client makes their final selections.
Can you help me with casting models for a brand shoot?
Yes of course! I can help you with casting models, booking studios, creating a shooting schedule, finalising briefs and creative direction. I understand putting together campaign shoots can feel overwhelming, but lucky for you I have done this hundreds of times! Just let me know what you need assistance with and I will work with you to get your shoot ready.
